KLab is a social design space for inclusive education Kenya. We bridge gaps in inclusive education by aligning policy, technology, and grassroots collaboration to deliver timely, personalized support for children with disabilities to enable them enroll and transition in school.

How we Do it
We have developed a self sovereign Identity Ecosystem that leverages AI to support Children with Disabilities to enroll and transition in school.

01 Partnerships
We partner with counties to champion inclusive education policies—opening up budgets and resources to support children with disabilities.
02 Early Identification
We work with county hospitals to carry out functional assessments, ensuring early identification and support for children with disabilities in their own neighborhoods.
03 Intervention Management
We empower communities to prepare children with disabilities for school at lower costs, using grassroots networks and localized training.
04 Personalized Learning
We use AI and secure data systems to turn insights into action—equipping teachers and parents with tailored learning plans and materials for every child.
Our Impact
SSI wallets give families ownership of disability data, breaking silos with secure, standardized credentials. Teachers use this data to build better IEPs. In 2025 we have the following targets:
Our Impact
We ensure every child with disabilities gets the right support at the right time—from early identification to tailored learning plans—empowered by technology and community collaboration.
